Facility Highlight: ACTIVE Al Maryah Island

While getting trained by a great coach is definitely important, training in the right location makes a difference. Zayed Sports Academy only partners with professional facilities that are well maintained and kept safe to ensure our players have the best possible experience. We are proud to be associated with ACTIVE Al Maryah Island since it opened in January 2021. This unique seaside property has views of the most beautiful sunsets and a convenient location near to Reem Island and Saadiyat Island for padel lessons and tennis coaching.

ACTIVE Al Maryah Island has a total of 7 outdoor and indoor padel courts, including two private Ladies Only padel courts. To keep players hitting their goals (and their rallies) the Zayed Sports Academy programme offers group padel lessons and private padel lessons for adults. There are also social padel sessions where you can meet new partners and test your skills against new opponents. To make sure ladies can participate comfortably, we’ve hired a female padel coach to run lessons in privacy, behind the curtains of the indoor court.

On four outdoor tennis courts and a brand-new indoor tennis court, our expert tennis coaches will prepare you to meet your goals with a specialized tennis programme. All of ACTIVE Al Maryah Island’s tennis courts feature a fast acrylic surface, just like the pros use, providing a safe and high-quality surface to become a champion in your own right. They’ve even been used for WTA tennis events and by tennis superstar Ons Jabeur!

In addition to all of the great sports on location, amenities of the site include easy, free parking, shower facilities, and F45 Al Maryah Island fitness centre. There are also delicious food options provided by Butcher & Still and a rotation of food trucks. Even more, this great location on Al Maryah Island is easily reached, peaceful, and steps away from luxury destinations including The Galleria, Four Seasons, and Rosewood Abu Dhabi.
