Zayed Sports Academy Takes Top Award
Zayed Sports Academy was recognised at the 7th edition of the Sport Industry Awards (SPIAs) as the region's Silver finalist for "Best Youth Sport Academy or Organisation". The SPIAs is the official celebration of the contributions that people and organisations make to the development of sport in a number of ways.
Zayed Sports Academy has twice before been shortlisted, and 2019 marks the first year that the team took a trophy away for the efforts.
In addition to youth programming, Zayed Sports Academy has robust programming for adults in both tennis and ice skating. Lessons are offered in cycling as well in partnership with Gulf Multi Sport.
On the same evening, sister brand Zayed Sports City won Gold as "Best Sport and Recreation Venue" and Mubadala Tennis in Schools, a project with heavy involvement of our tennis coaching team, was recognised as one of the region's 10 "Best Youth Development Projects".
